GIft Box and Matching Card

I have been playing around with Vellum lately and found that it is really versatile.  The flower is made with a mixture of Crepe Filter Paper and vellum.  The envelope for the 3 x 3 inch card was also made with vellum.  I didn't use any adhesive on the envelope, I just held it closed with some bakers twine and the card front showed through so I didn't even decorate the envelope.  The card fits inside the box perfectly.

Stamps:  Papillon Potpourri and Creative Elements
Cardstock:   Crumb Cake, Vellum and Whisper White
Ribbon:  Whisper White Bakers Twine
Big Shot: Fun Flowers
Punch:  Elegant Butterfly
Embellishments:  White Embossing Powder, Doilies and Antique Brads
Other:  Kraft Boxes

  1. This looks stunning. A great idea to make an envelope with vellum and tie bakers twine around it.

What kind of gift box did you make? Does it fit more than one card, or a card and a small gift?

  2. Thanks Angela. The gift box is the kraft box from Stampin up. All you have to do is assemble it and decorate, so easy and you don't even need to glue it. They come in packs of 4 for $5.95. The size of the box is 9x9x6.4cm so you could easily fit between 6 and 12 cards in a box depending on how bulky you make the cards. I kept mine pretty flat. I hope that helps.
