Ornament Keepsake Christmas Card

I have not been good at updating my blog lately as I have been spending most of my time outdoors in the garden.  I have also been helping hubby with the stock, fencing and planting paddocks.  The sheep have settled down and we have moved them while we replant their paddocks.  We are due to get our Ram in December as well a more calves.  We have a paddock locked up for hay so we will be making hay before Christmas.  Spring and the beginning of summer is always really busy for us.  Most of our veggies are in, so all we have to do now is just add a few new veggies every few weeks so that not everything is ready at the same time.  Well enough blabbing about me and onto the good stuff.

Two cards, but one is slightly different.  I personally prefer the second card.  I cased this card from Andrea Walford, so do stop by her blog for a visit.

A Male Card

I CASED this card from Deb Currier as you know I really struggle with Male cards.  I did change it up a bit to suit what supplies I had on hand.  Once I glued everything down I found that I had done it upside down so I am going to have to make another.  At least I can keep this card as future reference.

Thanks for visiting.

That Stunning Christmas Ornament

I created that absolutely stunning Christmas Ornament on the front cover of the Holiday Catalogue.  It is so easy to make and the only thing that takes the time is the stamping and cutting.  The Holiday Framelits definitely make the cutting easy.

I will be making these as gifts for my children as we have a Christmas tradition of swapping Christmas Tree decorations each year.  We have been doing this for about the pass eight years and I have a wonderful collection of decorations and they are all really special as you can see the thought that goes into picking just the right ornament.  I am going to have to get a larger tree this year so that I can fit all the decorations on it.

Thanks for stopping by and I apologise for not updating my blog.  The reason is that I have been busy in the garden as I just adore spring with all the new growth.

Another Gift Box

I was on a roll the other day and whipped up this box with matching cards.  I used the beautiful flocked window sheet from Candlelight Christmas Speciality DSP for the lid and kept the cards really simple.  I used the EF Holiday Frames again and punched large ovals from the left over flocked window sheet for the cards.  I also cut the ribbon in half lengthwise so that it would not be too thick when posting the cards.

Time for Tea

Our Ewe Lambs arrived safely but one of them seems determine to get out even though we have installed a 7 wire fence around the paddock.  At the moment I prefer stamping as it easier control!!!!!

I adore the Tea Shoppe stamp set so I used Kim Score's Hot Cocoa Holder tutorial but  changed it up to use the Tea Shoppe stamp set.  Inside of filling the box with marshmallow's I used sugar cubes.  I also had a small bit of empty space in the box so I tied by cinnamon sticks together with ribbon.  This box of tea was a perfect fit for the box.  It was sheer luck as I made the box then looked for a box of tea.

Thanks for visiting and have a fabulous day.

I love making little gifts to give to people.  Here is another couple of boxes I made the other day.  I used the nugget box tutorial from by Chiaki Haverstick.  They were really quick and easy to make.

Gift Box Set

Well life sure has been busy lately.  We have purchased some Wiltshire Ewe Lambs and they arrive today.  We are going to be breeding them.  We have managed to find a Ram Lamb but he is still a bit young so we have to wait until November for him.

We have been making some changes at home and the deck is nearly finished and the spa pool roof framing is up so just waiting for the roof now.  A few weeks ago the wind blew the spa pool cover off even ripping and breaking the latches.  It was quite badly damaged so we have ordered a new one and it should be here by the end of the week.  Well enough about my life and onto some stamping.

This is what we make at class last week.  A gift box with four cards using the Holiday Frame Embossing folder.  It would make a great gift.  This box was inspired by Chiaki Haverstick.  She has the most gorgeous tutorials.
